  • PCN with CCJ Three years old

    Hello,

I found out in April 2019 that I had a CCJ against me, But had no knowledge of this. I called the courts in Nottingham they advised me it was from Civil Enforcement Limited for park park fine at a hospital on the 05/09/2017. When I finally got to speak with Civil Enforcement LTD they just demanded I pay £365? but could not prove who the driver was and they also had my old address to which they apparently sent the letters to. I sold the property in Feb 2017 and had a mail redirection for 12 months to my new address DVLA also had my temporary address then my new address once the house sale went through but some reason which I cannot answer they gave this company my old address? My partner had the family car that day for a hospital appointment. I applied to have the CCJ set aside and have a court date of the 24th Sept 2019. I am looking for any help or advise on what to take / say or do on the court date . As I feel this is unfair and having the CCJ has caused me no end of financial problems as we are unable to gain a new mortgage deal or consolidate debits form refurbishing our new home etc.

Any help or advise will be much appreciated.

    Thanks
