Hi Chaps. Im a Guarantor for a commercial lease. The tenant for the unit had sublet the business out without my consent. I have written to the tenant and they told me i was informed as my daughter works there ??? I know unreal ! I have taken some legal advice and been informed that the tenant has breached the lease and therefore i should be release from the lease as Guarantor. The tenants lawyer is now refusing to reply to legals requests. I have even asked the tenants Landlords for comments. They wrote to the Directors of the tenant, of which one of the Directors is actually on the board for the landlord !. The landlords legals said it was in the best interest to have these concerns looked into, but the director for the landlord, who is also the director of the tenant is refusing to give permission to review this complaint.. so a turkey voting for christmas.... not good. Can anyone offer any advice. Citizens advice and trading standards are reluctant to get involved but ive hit a dead end.. please help if possible. Thank you
