    Lowell account on hold

    Hello
    I asked Lowell for proof of a debt they are claiming against me ,using a template off of this website and have recurved a letter saying,
    they have have requested a copy from the original creditor but they haven’t received it yet .and now they have put my account on hold till they receive it.


    Is there a time limit they have to get me the proof of debt ?.
