  • Ford Credit HELP

I have been on the Ford Car scheme through my employer for 4 years and last year I upgraded my car. I recently got declined for a mortgage and investigated my credit file to find that Ford had not been taking the direct debit payment since I upgraded. Clearly I was unaware of this and contacted them immediately. They would not even discuss it and despite me offering to clear the debt in full, they have since repossessed my car and left me with a £2500 debt and no vehicle. I am also not able to get a mortgage with my partner which has caused no end of problems.
Can anyone please advise. I can clear the £2500 debt by borrowing the money but I have no car now and cannot get a mortgage. This is clearly an administration error and I want this taken off my credit file as it is accidental. I had a car on the same scheme for three years prior and assumed the payment would simply continue!
