  • Parking fine

Hi. Can anybody help please . The driver parked for 10 mins in a private car park to the rear of kings house Manchester. He was delivering a pizza and the resident told him to park there. When he got back to his car the 'parking officer'was issuing the ticket. He explained he'd only been 10 mins at the most bit but the response was sorry I've already started issuing the fine. Uk parking patrol sent the registered keeper a fine for £100. He is on a zero hour contract and can't afford this sum. He ignored all subsequent letters it was then passed to zenith collections and Gladstone solicitors. He has never responded but yesterday he received a letter threatening him with CCJ and a claim in county court if he doesn't respond by 4th August. The sum has now gone up to £160 or £241.31 I fif it goes to court - for delivering a pizza ! Should he ignore or respond to this letter ?
    thanks for any advice

I can't read the signs, can you provide better definition please

If you can't see the signs then there can be no contract created

On the notice to driver, what is the stated time/date?

Btw, if you/your son have not Id'd the vehicle driver to the parking co, edit your first post.

The driver parked for 10 mins..............

These are the photos of the signs taken on the day it happened. I don't have better images. I could go to the car park and take them if needed Do you think we should respond to the letter threatening him with county cort and Ccjs?
