Hi I really need some advice! Looking to VT my hp car finance agreement with Advantage Finance. I currently have £509 arrears does this effect my statutory right to vt? I have paid well over 50% of the total amount payable. Can the legally refuse my vt due to arrears? Any advice appreciated!

So long as the agreement is still alive, you can VT but you would be liable for the arrears.If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need.
