Hello, I received a notice of intended prosecution for speeding. I was alleged travelling at 36 in a 30 limit. The alleged offence was on 12 May but the notice was dated 13 June. Is there any defence? Thanks

A speeding NIP has to be served within 14 days of the alleged offence.
There are exceptions to this (eg company or hired car, difficulty tracing registered keeper etc) but otherwise failure to give proper notice of intended prosecution is a Defence.

If you were stopped you might have been given a verbal NIP at the time
