  • Hi - Second Hand Vehicle Fault

    Hi all
We purchased a second hand vehicle to which we identified had a steering fault the day after it was collected. We have been back in touch with the dealer via email and phone calls, numerous times. It has been looked at by both the dealer and an independent garage but the fault remains.
We have sent an formal letter to the dealer within the 30 days of purchase requesting a repair, replacement or a refund but have not had a response...what should we do next? Do we go down the legal route?

you may have the right to reject the goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, in which case you write to the dealer telling them you are exercising your right as the vehicle is not fit for purpose.
