    Hello,

I have received a letter from BWLegal regarding a parking fine from Total Parking Solutions on 13/11/2014.

The ‘Breach’ is ‘Driver was observed leaving site whilst Vehicle remained parked on premises’ issuing a parking charge notice.

I have no recollection of this PCN and am unsure how to proceed.

Said letter states if a response is not recurved by 20/07/19 a county court claim will be issued.

The letter is address to my maiden name (spelt incorrectly) have been on the phone to citizens advice who didn’t really know what to do.

Any help of points in the direction of where to get help would be most appreciated

    Many Thanks

    Hi there

WOWSERS 2014!!!! Good god thats old as the hills, first things first you need to get them to provide you with a copy of any PCN and notice to keeper they are seeking to rely upon so you can understand what theur claim is for, you are entitled to disclosure under the pre action protocol for debt claims and their letter should have included a reply form where you can say you do not know if you are liable because you need documents first.

Id ask them for a copy of the PCN and notice to keeper

      Thanks for the speedy response,

I was totally caught off guard by the 2014 date, it transpires that my father received an identical letter this morning also!
There is an option to send off and receive more info on the claim so will send that off and see what they come back with.
No doubt I’ll be back when they respond.

      Thanks again

Update on this situation. I ignored the ticket, against better judgement and had a final letter warning that a court date would follow, that was almost a year ago and nothing since!

They'll be wanting to get the claim in before the 6 years is up, only another couple of months. Watch the post in the next few weeks.
