I've recieved a parking fine of 100 pounds for parking in a McDonalds car park for longer than a hour even though I never left the car, should I just ignore this fine, as I think these ain't legal any way?

It's not a fine, it's an alleged breach of a unilateral contract, actionable via civil law.
Do not ignore.....MET are fairly litigious.
Post up a pic of the postal notice to registered keeper, front & rear, redact personal info but leave all times & dates visible.
+ a pic of the site signage if possible.CAVEAT LECTOR
