Around 2 weeks ago I was caught shoplifting in Primark. I had taken items that costed a total of £11, however I recently got a letter from the RLP asking for £150. I was wondering if I should pay it or not? What happens if I don’t pay it? Could I be taken to court? Can anybody show up at my house? Does it affect my credit score?

There's lots on here regarding RLP, basically,
Ignore it completely. There has been no loss, the security people were doing the job they were paid to do.
There is a list of all the letters you will be receiving on the website. ( The Scary Letters.... RLP and DWF )
The last time they tried court they got thoroughly spanked by the judge ( https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...h-and-the-lies )
Shamelessly copied and pasted from ostell (hope you don't mind but couldn't have put it better myself)......
