In 2015 I took out a 4 year PCP deal on a VW car. In January 2019, with only a few months left of the deal, I carried out a VT and returned the car. The car was returned in good condition (no charge for damage etc). A few weeks later I received a letter from VWFS asking for £500 for excess mileage. I have corresponded with VWFS and informed them that I intend to contest their demand in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. I have since received a letter from their solicitors who appear to have a counter argument for s,99 and s,100 of the Act. I would appreciate any help I can get.
