  • Taking local Counciler to Court over bad CCTV installation

    After having had CCTV installed by a now local Councilor and have had trouble with the cameras ie going down in inclement weather for periods of up tpo 6-7 days and one camera not worked due to flooding the connection box still not fuctional and to get a reptible company just to look at the exisiting CCTV installation and get a full report of the exsisting damage mess ect is going to cost me amything between £100-150

    You have got to contact him and list all the defects and ask him to to correct. The fact that he is a local councillor is irrelevant.

    When was it installed? 30 days automatic right to reject , 6 months deemed he has to prove it was not defective and you have to give him one chance to repair. After 6 months you have to show it is defective.
