What amount of time can someone face?

Hi! So I'm trying to see what someone can face in jail with these crimes. Currently they have a court appointed attorney as the original one said they can't or don't have the ability to represent them properly. Counts are 18USC 922(g) and 924 (a) (2) unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Then 21 USC 841 (a) (1) and 841 (b) (1) (c) possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. When they went to court the court appointed attorney said 0 to 10 years for the first one and 0 to 20 years for the second one. We're just trying to get all of the information/knowledge that we can. Any help is greatly appreciated

Did a quick check of the code (you can see it here: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/924) and looks like the attorney is correct.

I doubt you'll get much help from this site however as it is UK based, and we don't really deal with other jurisdictions.
