Hi || help and advice re caveat issue please

I am new to this site and hoping for some help and advice re a caveat issue. We have issued a warning which has been returned by the probate registry, sealed. The accompanying letter says it is now for us to send to the Caveator BUT we thought it had to be witnessed by a solicitor. Can anyone verify this please? Thank you for your help and advice Regards
