  • debt sold during affordabilty complaint

    Hi All

On 05/4/19 I sent an affordability complaint to poundstopocket for a £1500 loan (last of 3 loans which i had with them totalling £3000, I fullly paid off first 2 loans). They acknowledged and wrote saying they willcome back in 8 weeks with final resposne.

yesterday i received a letter from moorcroft saying that poundstopocket have passed the account to them and they want me to make payment within 14 days or court proceedings will be initiated.

is poundstopocket allowed to sell a debt under complaint, and can i tell moorcroft to suspend any activity till original complaint is resolved?

    thanks
