  • Robinson Way Debt letter

I have received a letter today from Robinson Way chasing an old Barclaycard debt of £16000. This account was defaulted in November 2011 and the last payment made the month before that. I have had no contact with anyone since then until this letter arrived. I am now assuming that this debt is statute barred. Should I send them a statute barred letter to shut them up?

I would file it under "something to do on that rainy day". If and that is a big if they decide to try their luck at Court then come out with that. They will no doubt write to you every so often.

They will be hoping you know nothing about the Statute of Limitations and will just pay up regardless.
