Elderbridge took over my account from first plus. I was threatened with losing my home, so I agreed a payment plan with them. I have now cleared off my debt for first plus, but now elderbridge have added interest on my loan for late payment and it is nearly back to the amount I owed in the first place. Can they do this.

Elderbridge think they have carte blanche raise a complaint get data subject access from both FP and Elderbridge ..Elderbridge will say they got t and c from FP and try and bounce it back I've a case that has been ongoing with Fos who have finally said the obudsman will have review in May with Elderbridge taking respinsablility for previous lender .Raise complaint let both parties no doubt fob you off then go to Fos if not happy with initial Fos findings then it goes to Obudsman. .It us beyond me how Elderbridge are getting away with this it appears in my opinion the media canbeffectively destroy one pay day lender Wonga while other pay day lenders continue yet secured lending with people's homes at stake we are on our own.Good luck and start fighting top tip put complaint by phone .. email and signed for post so they can't say no complaint Elderbridge seem to ignore phone complaints email complaints but it leaves a trial ... signed for post so they cannot say not received etc
