We have an ongoing dispute with Idem Securities regarding a loan they obtained from Picture Loans over 10yrs ago, we had come to an arrangement with Picture Loans over the miss selling of the loan which included a PPI. Idem obtained this loan and immediately demanded the full amount stating there was no agreement in place as there was no paper work to confirm this.
To cut a very long journey short we ended up in court last January where we lost the case against Idem and they gained technically repossession of our home but we came to a agreement that we would pay what we was able to and if we didn't continue to pay this sum every month they would repossess the property.
This has continued up until now when we received a letter which appeared to be a court summons which stated that Idem were going to court to obtain a repossession of the property on the 1st March, we didn't receive this letter till after the 1st of March.
Checking with the relevant court as to if this had happened they could find no papers or information about this.
I have since been in contact with the FCA regarding Idem and it appears they are no longer registered with the FCA .but they trade in the style of Paragon Finance PLC.
With reporting this issue to the FCA we believe that Idem are in breach of Chapter 13 of the FCA Mortgages and Home Finance: Conduct of Business Sourcebook this is the rules as to how a company must conduct it self to be registered with the FCA to enable them to conduct financial business, mortgage, loans, debit collection etc.
IF ANYONE HAS HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH IDEM OR ITS MANY GUISES PLEASE LET THE FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY KNOW STATING Case Ref: 2057780155 AS THEY ARE REQUESTING ANY FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND THEIR PRACTICES.
