  • Pcp advice

Hi I am looking for advice on a PCP deal I have as I want to terminate contract.
I have a year left on my 4 year deal and had the car valued by Mercedes at approximately £12k as I’m told that’s due to the high mileage I’ve done. I’ve done 68k miles had car 3 years on a 17k miles per annum so I’m 17k over. My settlement is £13,650 so my question is that I’m told value of car is £12k due to high mileage but how can I determine if the value of my car is included with the high mileage as the dealership keeps saying it’s due to your high mileage which is why it’s below your settlement figure but that means if I’m penalised for high mileage on a low trade in value can they also chase me for excessive mileage charges and if so I’m being penalised twice aren’t I.
