  • Met parking ticket

Hi, The registered keeper received a met parking notice on 27th jan stating that The car was parked over by 20 min at the gym
Something went wrong as you have to put your reg in on an iPad at reception, which Was done by the driver and had 2 people witness them doing it as A ticket had previously Been issued and paid , so they always stand with a driver every time, just to make sure It gets put in.
A driver appealed this ticket as far as concerned something happened on the iPad to not register the reg. had not heard anything back so am actually wondering now if The appeal was even done correct,a because today The registered keeper have received a £100 fine as did not pay in time with the reduced fine....it’s now 31/3 so that’s 2 months it’s taken them to reply.
do I just ignore it now or appeal again?
I really feel the driver shouldn’t ’have to pay this But also don’t want to ignore this letter if It does have to be paid
    pls help xx

    Hi & welcome

Could you please edit your post to ensure you are not IDing who was driving at the time. (Even by implication.)

"The driver parked......", "the registered keeper received....", etc.

That'll give you possible protection via the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.

Golden rule....do not ID who was driving/parking at the relevant time.

Could you post up a pic of the postal Notice to Keeper, front & rear?

Redact personal info inc vehicle reg, but leave all dates/times visible.

Also a pic of the site sign if poss.

So in your appeal have you identified who was driving at the time? Yes or no

So, to clarify, the driver received a windscreen ticket and appealed.

The Keeper then received a Notice to Keeper in the post, somewhat late. More than 56 days after parking?

The keeper received a notice in the post, they have cameras at the gym,
the keeper thought they had appealed on line but hadn’t received anything back genuinely may of done it wrong?
Then received a reminder through post but stating now it’s gone up. To £100

                    Hi

                    That's the reminder.

Do you have the first postal NtK?
