Hello, my husband is involved in a bitter partnership dispute which has been going on for almost 4 years and still hasn't been resolved. He and one brother are the defendants and the other brother is the claimant. After a long drawn out battle the brothers, their partners and legal representatives met at mediation and almost reached an agreement to settle the dispute. However, there was a stumbling block raised by the claimant late in the day so no agreement was signed. Since then the defendants' solicitors have ben trying to engage the claimant in further discussion and negotiation in the hope of settling the matter once and for all, but 8 weeks on from the mediation and the claimant and their solicitor are ignoring all correspondence from the defendants' solicitors. It appears as if a state of complete deadlock/impasse has been reached, and my husband is at a loss as to what to do next.
