Hi, Im lisa and have had a few debts in the past but now am paying them back direct to the creditors but have a problem with one debt company who gave me a ccj some 4 months ago without my knowledge or defence. Im hoping people with more knowledge on these matters can help me make a decision.The ccj has been removed and the court action set aside until now. I wrote my defence, no proof of original documents and late in responding to my info request. The court has offered me papers to proceeded or not through the small claims court. The debt is from 2006 and is for some £1800.
I am positive that the copy of my credit card loan agreement, they sent me, will not stand up in court, no date, creditors signature of letter heading. So am I better going to court, or go small claims and or mediation.
