Hi there i had car on pcp it was written off in accident my settlement figure was touching 12 grand my insurance vauled the at 16 grand so they paid off my pcp. They issue iam having is thatbshould the reminder balance come to me of 4 grand.

Sorry to tell you but you have no claim to that extra value!
THe car never belonged to you, and insurance is a contract of indemnity ie to put you back in the position you were in before the loss.
To give you that £4000 would mean you made a profit (nice, but it won't happen!)
