False Imprisonment claim ?

I am in the process of making a claim for false imprisonment and assault and battery in the county court. I have made claims in the past at my local county court (now closed) and via money claims on line for outstanding debts.

But..

In the case of a civil claim such as false imprisonment and assault and battery where the damages claimed(compensation) are already specified as a fixed monatery amount which form is used to start the calim? is it N1 or N208 or some other form.

It is a strong case and relatively simple it is just I cannot find out the correct way to start the proceedings with any certainty.

Any help is greatfully received.

Were there criminal proceedings and are you making this claim on the back of them. It would help your case

Yes a motoring offence,I was found not guilty. The police complaints dept have also found in my favour and delt with the officer concerned via the internal didciplinary proceedure.

I have now and the police have offered £500! How did you know that it was possible they would make an offer?

I also found out the correct form is the N1 CPR 7.
