i have recently received a letter from Moorcroft debt recovery in relation to an old loan debt with Natwest. I was paying another company called Apex who I have seemingly been paying for the last 2 years without being made aware that they have closed down. After asking moorcroft to prove the debt I started doing some reading around loans taken out pre 2007 and now wondered whether It would be worth asking to see a copy of the original CCA agreement. I didn’t however know if this would be worthwhile with a bank like nat west as from what I have read they just cobble together the agreements and claim it’s a true copy and enforceable. Any thoughts? Thanks
