  • Wedding reception upset

Hi can i get some advice please. My daughter is due to marry in May. She attended a wedding meal event last night to choose her afternoon meal. After successfully choosing she was then informed that the reception meal would consist of sausage and bacon sandwiches. She stated that she hadn't agreed to this and was expecting a buffet..After looking at the contract it states light snacks for the evening but doesn't say bacon and sausage sandwiches anywhere. She challenged them on this and was told she could have a buffet which consists of 3 items, but if she wanted a full buffet she would have to spend an extra £500. They won't budge on the matter and are saying that's what she signed up for, but she disagrees. Can anyone advise please or does she just have to grin and bear it.

    Hi,

What was discussed in terms of the reception meal?
You say your daughter had not agreed on the sausage and bacon sandwiches, what did she agree on?
Why did she think she was expecting a buffet?
Has your daughter signed a contract?
