  • Voluntary Termination of PCP enquiry

R0b I've read the thread on VT and found it incredibly useful, thank you! However, there is one point about which I'm unsure, namely if one can bring forward the date when VT is allowed by over-paying. If I pay £250 a month for my PCP and need to have paid another £1000 to reach the 50% figure, do I need to keep paying the agreed monthly amount for 4 months, or could I make a single £1,000 payment and start the process once the money clears?

Check your terms and conditions, there may be a fee if you pay off the loan early. My contract with RCI says that I can pay off early without penalty but there shouldn't be any reason why you can't do that. Alternatively, you can give notice to VT and then enclose a cheque for the remaining balance or pay immediately after.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
