  • problems with post master taking my earnings

    hope someone can help . My wife is a cashier at a post office, a job she has done for the last 20 years or so at 3 different post offices in our town. Her till was in debit 2 weeks ago and the the postmaster is planning to not pay her wages but to deduct the deficit. My wife is part time with no contract and only works for 12 hours a week. ( 3 days 10 am - 2pm ) Is this legal

    Has the Post Office fixed their accounting software problem that falsely showed deficits?

      Apparently it can take months before it shows up on the system . I would have thought that someone would be able to find it,my wife repeatedly asked the postmaster to contact someone to check this out but he has not done so.
