Hi there. This is my first post. Received a Capital Contribution Order through the post today for £5216.30 from Rossendales. I pleaded guilty at Crown Court back in March 2011. My own property which is in joint names is still mortgaged. I can no way afford to pay this as a lump sum as I do not have the money but I am working and can afford to pay something monthly ( although this incurs 6% interest charge). No chance of borrowing as my credit status would not allow. Firstly, is it usual to receive these claims out of the blue some 7.5 years after the case and secondly, am I able to pay this monthly ?. Thank you
