  • VT fair wear and damage

    Hello all,

Returned my Audi tonight a year earlier than its VT with around 1000 miles over its limit. Woman inspected the car and I signed the iPad with her putting it as a level B and she said she couldn’t sign it off as it was too dark. There are a couple of stone chips a little tiny dint on drivers rear panel under the fuel cap and one deep scratch that I had repaired and repainted. She stated that it will go to Audi to be inspected again. She was there for over 30 mins and wouldn’t sign it off so frustrating. What are my rights with minor excess mileage and minimal damage that I certainly class as fair wear and tear. Wanted an outcome before Christmas and now I’m going to have to wait until next year. Any idea how long this process normally takes.
    Regards. Andy
