  • High court Enforcement officers !!

    Hi,

I have received a letter from a high court Enforcement Officer, asking for payment by next week. Otherwise the debt collectors will visit my home. I feel the letter is not legitimate, i am not entirely sure how to proceed.

Please Se can you help, I was dealing with the CMC and have never been sent any court forms or anything. I have received this letter now from high court Enforcement officers.

A CCJ or High Court Judgment is needed before High Court Enforcement Offices can become involved - assuming it's not just been granted in the last month or so then you can see what orders are in your name here, https://search.trustonline.org.uk/Search/Person . It's very unlikely that someone is pretending to be a HCEO.

Is the letter headed Notice of Enforcement, if so does it give a date whereby you have to contact them? Which HCEO?
