VT excess mileage charge

Hello,

i have done VT of a PCP agreement recently. The car finance company has issued Ł400 for excess mileage. After reading this forum I decided to reject their changes. Now they want to pass this to a debt collection agency.any advise how I should proceed with this matter now? Thanks for your help
