Hi, new member. RCI said I owed excess mileage. I did excess miles but challenged it for a number of months. They then refused to accept my challenge and eventually reduced amount to £2500 waived the small damage fee and said it was their final decision and passed the case to a company called Palladin. Palladin contacted me in Feb 2018 asking for £2500. I advised them of my challenge and requested that both RCI and Palladin sent me copies of their files and the reasoning for their decisions so I could take the case to FoC. I said I would pay the £15 required for them to do this. I asked for a response in 14 days and heard nothing more. Roll on to last week when I received a note from QDR solicitors asking for £478 and some pence. Rang and advised of complaint going back to Feb/ March of this year. They put on hold then sent a letter via text link saying they had made an error and it should have been £2500. What do I do next
