  • Help CCBC mediation failed...what happens next

Can any advise please. My son has received a CCBC claim for Lowell shop direct. Mediation failed as he said he didn’t know who shop direct was and what the debt was for. Letter has now arrived saying ‘ notice of transfer of Proceedings’ and states the claim has been transferred for allocation and will be referred to a procedural judge to allocate the claim to track and give case management.
My son has mental heath issues and thinks this will just go away and I’m worried that this will push him over the edge. Please can some advice what will happen next, I’m thinking Is it best to ring Lowell and offer to pay or is it to late
    thank you in andvance

Somebody must have been filling in the forms for it to get this far. Shop Direct is probably a catalogue debt.

It's never too late to pay, it can be done anytime but why not find out exactly what it is about.

The next step should be allocation to a court near you, if the forms have been filled in correctly

What do the Particulars of Claim say on the claim form?
