    I contacted the Finance company to find out what is the total amount payable (to qualify for the VT). The advisor informed me that it is the amount we borrowed from them, which is around £30000.
    If that is correct it is impossible to ever pay over 50% as after 36 months I only paid around £12000 (with only one month to go)
    The car costs £38000 and I have contributed £7000 deposit initially. Is the advisor deliberately trying to confuse me or this contract is set up in the way that I can never exercise my VT right. Any help with this is highly appreciated.
