Hello! Im wanting advice on an issue with an online store. The store operates under a trading name but my purchase receipt stated the limited company. Long story short, I bought goods in excess of £200 last xmas. The goods were "lost" (Royal Mail confirmed the delivery person left it in an unsecured area), i contacted the store with the correspondence from RM and they refused to send me a replacement/refund. After going back and forth I logged a small claims and a CCJ was logged against the limited company. Since this time there have been several complaints on their social media about people not receiving their goods however there was no activity from the company since May. They've recently "relaunched", using the same trading name however the company my ccj is against has gone into liquidation. Do I have any chance of progressing my claim? I should add that the director appears to have done this a lot i.e set up companies, liquidate after mismanagement then start again with a new company. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
