Hi,
Currently going through a VT with BMW, I have used your letter template (thank you for that) I sent it special delivery tracked yesterday - 20/9/18. I got confirmation it was signed for at 9.10am 21/9/18. I also sent the letter as an email on the 20/9/18, recieved and automated response a few hours later. I have stated in my letter that the termination will take effect as of the 22/9/18 and all use of the vehicle will cease and its ready for collection.
The direct debit is due 23/9/18 but wil come out Monday 24th. Can i cancel my direct debit tomorrow (22nd) knowing that I stated in my letter the agreement with terminate on the 22nd and the letter arrived 21st? I have printed off the tracking receipt with the signature, time, date etc. So I have evidence that it was recieved on the 21st, I also have the email and royal mails invoice.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also we are over on the mileage by 5000 miles. The car is in mint condition, its 8 1/2 years old.
