Hi
I naively confirmed I was the driver of a vehicle parked on double yellow lines at BP Connect at Stansted - no other parking spaces available and disabled space was being used. ANPR shows my car arriving, parked on double yellows, and leaving (less than 10 minutes in total) on 1st April 2018 but the first letter from MET is dated 11 May 2018. I appealed the charge online based on mitigating circumstances and then did not receive anything else from MET until 5 September 2018 via e-mail where they state they have sent me letters on 9 June, 16 July and 2 August. I have not received any of these letters, nor a POPLA code, and now the case has been passed onto a debt collection agency.
Do I have any recourse?
