I was cought in Debenhams about 6 weeks ago stealing porfume botle, the security called Garda they come to Debenhams store and they brought me to Garda station, they asked if i was arrested before but i was not, they put me in room for about 1 hour and I singed up some forms that I admit that i was stealing, and after that they told that some Gards will call me in the next few weeks. Now I received a letter that I have an appointment in the Garda station on Wednesday. I don’t know what is going to happen.

The Garda told me that I would not go to the court if I wasn't arrested before, but I stolen few times from there and the security told me that hi so me in camera and hi said that to the Gards on the day I was cought. I don't know to admit or not if I'm being asked on my appointment in the Garda station.
      Thank you.

From your use of the term "garda" I assume you are in Eire.
This site deals primarily with UK problems, so we might not be of much help.

In the UK we would suggest you do not go to this interview unaccompanied.
It is advisable to instruct a solicitor to accompany you.
If you can't afford your own, request the duty solicitor be instructed to attend
In the UK this is your right, and I believe similar systems apply in Eire.

In this case the Garda are not your friends and you need legal advice
        Good luck

A decision was made that you be given the benefit of the Adult Caution Scheme. Please attend at th8Garda Station on the following date and time for this caution to be administered.

Failure to attend this appointment will result in a prosecution being initiated against you.
