  • Dispute of forfeiture of lease, filing for relief?

    Hi,

My landlord claims I have forfeited the lease and sent a notice which expired but I was unable to gain guidance from their solicitor as he ignored the emails about what needs to be fixed and that we dispute the terms and some of the claims were incorrect. In short we do not believe the claim to be valid.

The landlord seeked to change the locks via peaceable re-entry but as we were present and we work odd hours they were/are unable to do so but I want to request some sort of relief as I believe with my evidence I can prove that the claims were/are incorrect and we did not make an breaches that would have made a case for forfeiture.

Is there a way for us to request relief in the interim until we get in front of a judge?

    thanks
