  • How to obtain Conveyancing Maps?

    Can anyone please tell me what information is submitted by Conveyancing Solicitor to a Large well known Search Provider in order to request the Searches they want to obtain.

    Does Conveyancing Solicitor provide the Coordinates of the Property Area to the Search Provider who then uses their own OS Licence Number to obtain the Map?

    Or does Conveyancer provide the whole Map using their own OS Licence Number? Thank you in anticipation.

    Does this query connect up with your previous posts regarding an ongoing dispute with a solicitor?
    if so it would be better to keep them all on one thread so the overall picture can be seen.

    I don't see that it matters from your viewpoint what instructions the solicitor gives the searcher.
    You instructed the solicitor who then instructed the searcher.
    The searcher is the solicitor's agent, and is liable to the solicitor, who is liable to you.

    If you are suing the solicitor, he can join the searcher to the proceedings

    does the search company subscribe to the code of practice of the Property Codes Compliance Board?

      The Search Firm did nothing wrong. They were given the info and on what were given produced correct result. The Solicitor altered Coordinates, (to property in another street) put Copyright year as (2002) should have been (2006) and altered OS Licence Number on Council Lical Search document and other Form is blurred where coordinates are. All searches done on wrong extent of property, just the building. Solicitor then Signed and completed the Bank Title Report to allow bank to release funds, but Registered the Correct Title and did not obtain new Searches on Correct Title Plan. Turned out there was a Large Sewer for Flood defence scheme! I have lost everything and it looks like I'm homeless again too. I've done everything I can. Police say is no Fraud! Judge said same! Apologies for not keeping it together! I believe the others all knew and was some form of deal. I'm not a conspiracy theorist! If you saw plans etc you can see no way did he not know. Correct Plan 4xs bigger! Don't know what else I can do.Thank you for your interest.
