My mother passed away earlier this year and she made her will at 89 years old to cover her assets in the UK. Its money in bank accounts. For some reason she made my brother sole executor. I do not think she knew what she was doing. The Will for the UK is for over £100,000, she also has a large estate in another EU country which is around £200,000 She always believed I would be the administrator for the foreign assets. Because of the wording in the foreign Will its causing a conflict . So the British Will is being used in both countries. The Will has gone through probate here. My brother is refusing to give me any details , he will not communicate at all , he has even refused my solicitors requests for a cope of the accounts . I know as a main benificiary I have the right to see them. In fact I have been told I have to approve them. Is this right and what else can do.
