  • Kitchen woes

    We have a dispute with our kitchen fitter and based on latest negotiations we have a gap and they are threatening legal action.
    our problem is they did not provide all that was quoted, forgot to tile certain areas, made the frame and mantle above the cooker too low, did not remove any rubbish and made some small mistakes that need fitting.
    What steps should I now take if they move forward with legal action

    You have the agreement with them that details the work to be done? I presume that you have not paid. Have they offered to complete the work as agreed?

    If they do issue a claim then you counterclaim for the work not done. Or you get in first and issue a claim against them for the breach of contract.
