  • Voluntary Termination of PCP

Hi, I have recently VT my car due to changes within my personal circumstances. The car has been taken away and inspected. They have been in contact today to tell me that I am liable to pay for the excess miles which are on the car. I have read on another website that no matter how much they hit back at me for the charge of excess miles, under no laws does it say that I actually am liable to pay this. I was just wondering if I will need to pay it or if I can’t fight it. As everywhere I’m reading online says I don’t actually have to pay it. Thanks in advance

    Hello

Whether you pay or don't pay, that is your choice and nobody can make that decision except you. It sounds like you've done your research so its up to you to decide what you want to do.

I know this but I’m just wondering if what I’m reading is correct and enough for me to fight it.

Again, that's down to you and what you make of it. I suggest you read the link below which explains my view of excess mileage charges but of course lenders will say otherwise.
