Excess Mileage

I currently have a 308 on PCP with Blackhorse, I am wanting to do a VT with them as I have paid over 50% of the agreement, and this is why I am interested in taking out a lease this time rather than PCP as my car is now 4 years old, however I am over on my mileage with Blackhorse by around 8000 and would I have to pay this? What are my best options so that I can move forward, would they chase me for the money or is there anyway of getting out of paying the excess mileage?

i don't believe you have to pay the excess mileage once 50% has already been paid. Don't sign any forms they send you, and i believe there is a template floating around somewhere on how to go through the VT process, if you do find it, let me know as well, am in the same boat
