  • Voluntary termination

Hi everyone, i recently vt'd my car with barclays as my partner came out of work so couldnt afford the repayments.I have paid nearly 3 years of the 5 so when i rang they said they will accept the vt,i have sent them the template from your forum and also explained i would have to cancel insurance on the car straight away, the car has been parked at my place of work as i thought it would be more secure there with it being a locked car park but over the weekend the car has been vandalised, windows smashed and parts removed, ive reported it to the police and have a crime number,am i liable for the damage or the finance company as they should of collected the car sooner, thanks
