  • Lowell... Need I say more

    Lowell,
I have just received a letter threatening they will take me to court for a EDF energy bill. Called Pre Legal Assessment.
Different to any other mail they send out.
I do remember when I was switching energy supply. EDF made things extremely difficult. The electric changed. But for some reason the gas wouldn't. What I don't understand how it is over £2000 for gas. I am now with another company on a smart meter. £10 a fortnight gas & electric.
I have not made contact with them. Because they are abusive demanding money down the phone. And once they have your phone number. They will be constantly harassing me with phone calls & text message's.

Do Lowell take people to court?
Would you recommend talking to Lowell ?
Just because an invoice is in my name does it mean it's my debt ?
Can you recommend a course of action?
    Thank you
