    no bail warrant
I have just tad a letter from the police say there is a no bail warrant out for my arrest!
I was due to appear in court last Thursday and did not attend due to illness! I suffer with several crohns disease and have been extremely unwell - i rang the court on guess morning and told them I could not attend and that i had a doctor's fit Note to cover me! I could not get the doctors note to them until yesterday - Fri afternoon - this warrant had been issued thurs.
if I go to the police station now I will be locked up till Monday morning - that's right?
spoke to 3 different police stations - all told me different things.
1 said don't do anything till Monday then contact court because they would have my documentation by then
    other said go straight away!
and other said go tomorrow afternoon!
thing is I have severe crohns disease and have generally been unwell! I have had a major flare up and have joint swelling which is making me immobile. also Need toilet roughly 20 + times a day! that's not taking into account my medication is have to take every 4 hours!
also I suffer with c-diff which is highly contagious!
my point being - if I go to police station they will lock me up no matter what - won't they? because judge had ordered it????
should I sit tight and wait till Monday ???
case is for fraud by misrepensation 2006.
    thank you

We can't tell you what you should and shouldn't do, that's entirely your choice. If there is a warrant for your arrest then expect the worse and assuming you will be remanded in custody until the next available hearing, which is likely to be Monday hence the arrest warrant with no bail.

If the police pick you up before Monday the court have ordered that you be detained until you can appear so it's an almost certainty that you would be detained at the station and likely taken up to the court on Monday. Unsurprisingly the court are not too trusting of those claiming to have medical issues without any proof as many try it on - magistrates and judges are wise to it and will insist on evidence.

What was the appearance for that you didn't turn up for ?
