  • NPS parking charge notice in Jesmond 360 for a full day 6 hours plus

Please help me.The driver has received a PARKING CHARGE NOTICE in the post with name address and car details on. The driver admittedly parked where they say, as they do regularly for work. The driver always pay via phone. But on this occasion the details have not registered and the charge states Contravention..failure To pay for parking. The driver is an apprentice and cannot afford the £100 fine or even the £60 fine.
Is this a real fine that they need to pay? Should the driver appeal it?
    Thank you for helping me

    Hi and welcome
First thing to do is to amend your post so the driver cannot be identified. Change to "the driver" parked etc.

Then whilst you wait for ostell to log in, post up a copy of the PCN (remove all identifying details, and if possible photos of the parking signs.

Ha Ha I'm not the most savvy of computer users but I would scan the documents into my computer.
Then click on the paperclip sign in the blue bar above where you type your post.
This will produce the "upload attachments" box.

Save the photo on a free photo site( NOT photobucket) and post the link on here. Has the driver got a record of that call held on their phone?
